The Inn

  • The Mandragora's Head Inn

    Located in North Windurst Waters, though the Mandragora's Head Inn isn't the largest, it sees many eager adventurers through its doors. The inn was built four years after the razing of Windurst City, with construction taking two months due to bad weather. The inn was run by generations of a family of Tarutaru, who also harvested wild plants for cooking and selling at the tavern.

    This lineage of the inn changed when a contagious illness left Ikan-Bikan as the sole heritor of the family business. His relationship with surviving distant relatives were strained, but he was known to be kind and welcoming to visitors, even those from across the sea. After befriending a Galka Bastokan and his child, he left him the inn in his will, much to the gossip of that section of Windurst City.

    The Mandragora's Head Inn is known to have fair prices - not cheap, but not too expensive either - with pretty good quality service. Every room comes with a hot bath and the menu is filled with local dishes, including some Galkan delicacies. The beds are adorned in cool linen sheets and hemp duvets for the humid climate, so guests can stay comfortable and cozy.

    A large sign has a mandragora's head with a fork sticking out guides people in. Vines cling to the walls and moss grows from the floor. It's a little overgrown, but so is the rest of Windurst. Why not come inside for a while?

  • The MH Inn's Guestbook

    At the counter of the inn, there is a propped up leather book with a quill attached by twine. Interestingly, it's a peafowl's quill, rather fancy for a humble establishment.
